Activity Suggestions

You'll want to prayerfully tailor this activity to the needs and interests of your sisters. Here are some ideas generously shared by other RS sisters:

  • There are many yummy food options for this theme: Taco bar, taco salad bar, or you can do a copy-cat dish from your favorite Mexican restaurant (i.e. sweet pork salad for Cafe Rio)

  • For decor you can use various colors of plastic tablecloths and create fiesta tissue flowers for centerpieces (see video below)

  • Speed Friending is the perfect game for this activity! See bellow for full instructions.

Speed Friending Game

This game is quick to set up and fun to play. Here are the instructions:

  • Place a long row of tables with enough chairs for all attending. There should be a row of chairs on each side of the table so participants can face each other.

  • Click HERE to print Speed Friending questions. Questions are labeled Group A and Group B. Assign one side of the table Group A and the other side Group B

  • Every sister should have someone sitting in front of them. Have the sisters take turns asking the sister opposite them a question from their list. They will take turns asking questions until a 5 minute timer chimes, then, one of the rows of sisters will rotate one seat to the right. The same row will rotate every time the timer goes off. Do this until you run out of time or all the sisters have had a chance to visit with each other.
